Paraben's Project-A-PhoneTM ICD-8000 is Paraben's latest version of our cell phone screen capture device that allows you to take pictures or videos of the screen of almost any cell phone and display it right on your computer. This model replaces the IDC-5200, the most popular image capturing device among cell phone forensic examiners. It can also be used by anyone who needs to share the screens of their cell phones with anyone. Use the native camera software to take high definition images and videos of each screen as you scroll through the various screens on your phone to perform a forensic exam. The ICD-8000 model has an 8 Megapixel camera with 720p HD video capabilities that is ideal for cell phone forensics, overhead projector presentations for sales calls, conferences, court presentations, or any other situation where you need to project your phone to others.
How it Works:
- Secure your phone in the Project-A-Phone
- Plug the Project-A-Phone into a USB port and install the camera software
- Run the camera software on your computer
- Adjust the camera to display your phone screen
- Start saving images or taking videos

The native camera software gives you control over the quality of pictures and videos, brightness, zoom, focus, and more. You can easily use your favorite forensic software to create a detailed report of your findings. Please note that the ICD-8000 camera creates videos in a format that is not supported by the Project-A-Phone Case Reporting Software. However, images created with the ICD-8000 can be added to the Case Reporting Software.

"There is really only one 'sure fire' way to document text messages, call logs, etc. from ALL cell phones. That way is to take pictures of the actual screen of the phone while the user accesses the various functions. We use a device called Project-a-Phone that is available from Paraben. We also have several multi-thousand dollar software/hardware combinations to get the cell phone data. However, no single solution gets all of the data from EVERY cell phone."
